Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi
As I progressed in my Bharatanatyam training, I had the opportunity to perform solo at various festivals in Bangalore and other places. My initial meeting with Guru Vyjayanthi Kashi was a remarkable moment as she initiated me into the world of Kuchipudi.

As time progressed, Guru Vyjayanthi gave me opportunities to perform with her ensemble throughout India, including Doordarshan recordings.

Guru Vyjayanthi built a special bond beyond the Guru-Shishya relationship. Guru Vyjayanthi continues to support me in my future endeavors. Even after all these years, my love and affection for her remain as strong as ever.

Vyjayanthi Kashi is one of India's most respected classical dancers and is a dance bridge between the pristine classical style of Kuchipudi and a more contemporary dance aesthetic. Having had her training in Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi & Temple ritual dances from a tender age under legendary Gurus, she has proved to be a DYNAMIC FORCE in KUCHlPUDI. Vyjayanthi is celebrated not only for her deep and composite understanding of the art of Kuchipudi but also as an actress on television and in theatre and for her work as a choreographer, dance educator, and dance therapist.
With a vision to promote artistic and professional excellence, she founded the SHAMBHAVI SCHOOL OF DANCE in 1993 and has trained several dance aspirants around the globe.
